Gearbox have released a new batch of screenshots for their genre mash-up first-person shooter/RPG game, Borderlands, more than likely releasing later this year on Xbox 360 and PC.

Borderlands’ key features include access to literally hundreds of thousands of guns, all of which are customisable, as well as a co-operative singleplayer campaign with a focus on first-person action and role-playing game-like niceties, such as character customisation and improvement.

Vehicle combat is also on the list of features for Borderlands, while the game takes place on a “danger-filled planet” as you attempt to unravel “the mysteries buried beneath the surface.”
