Punishable acts and penalties
Anyone who has played this game knows this game is full of glitches and ways to cheat. None of that will be tolerated in this tournament. These glitches or cheats include: The Lighting Run {Roadie running and shooting at the same time}, Flying Chainsaw {jumping over barriers with your chainsaw revved}, Magnetic slide {sliding over a weapon and picking it up at the same time}, Invisible man, Leaving the designated playing area, or any other acts we deem cheating or glitching.

Unsportsman like conduct. These acts include: smoke tagging while the guy is down, slapping, teabagging, or letting the guy get backup only to slap them back down. Smoke tagging an enemy while he is standing is allowed. However, since we all know this is a fun aspect of the game we will allow a celebration on the enemy if it’s the last kill of the last round of the match. Then you can go to town, just make it interesting and funny.

The penalty for any of these acts is as follows. First offence, offending team will forfeit the round { the other team will be allowed to kill any surviving members of the offending team}. Second offense, offending team will forfeit the match {the match will end automatically} Third offense, offending team will be eliminated from the tournament all together.

Trash talking will be allowed, but we ask that you do it in a friendly manner. No Bad Language.

We realise that XBOX Live allows for private conversations in during game play, we respectfully ask that you DO NOT use this function, if your team mate dies in the game then you cannot communicate with him. This is very difficult to monitor so please respect this. Please check voice comms with all competitors before the round starts.

You may use Xbox Live voice chat functionality during the Tournament. Any misuse of voice or text chat as described elsewhere in the official rules, such as using profane language or communicating game play information to members of the opposing team, will result in the offending player’s disqualification.

Any disorderly behavior disqualifies Contestants from participation, finals, or prizes. Contestants must refrain from using harassing, negative, or profane language at any time.

Taking advantage of known exploits in the game is also considered cheating. Exploits in the game could include, without limitation, bugs that allow you to hide under obstacles or objects in the game to gain invulnerability. If a Contestant is found to have been cheating, they will be disqualified immediately from the Tournament.

The Tournament rules are subject to change at any time. If any changes to the rules occur, you will be notified through the Tournament news page.

Any Contestant participating in a match who is disconnected from Xbox Live or the game will be, along with his team, disqualified unless The Lair specifically states otherwise.

Players must be signed into their Xbox Live account at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their match to be able to accept the friend request and subsequent game invite.

Once the game has begun, it is considered official.

Referee's and Other players
Due to online facilities and with respect that all teams will play fairly we will have a referee available for the evening but not participating in the matches for the first few rounds, for any discrepancies that may occur during a match.

Should you make it through to the Semi-Finals and Finals, each match will be accompanied by a referee and possibly a journalist they will enter either team as a third player you will have to kill both the ref, and Journalist at the start of the map before play, so that they can then spectate the match.

The Referee's decision is final and cannot be challenged. Be sure that if you do challenge a decision that you have sufficient evidence to back up your claim.

Winning Conditions:
